CrimeTime is playes with at least 4 players. There isn't a maximum number of players.
Are you playing with more than 10 players? Shorten the interrogation by 1-on-1 conversations. You determine with each other how long an interrogation may last. Use a clock or a kitchen timer to keep track of time.

Goal of the game
Investigate who's robber of the present players and solve the crime.
Make a list of suspects based upon the testimonies and proove that one of the players has been on the crimescene, who has a motive for the robbery and the whereabouts of the loot.
Preparation:
Depending on the chosen game options you have received an invite with the option to create your own character. This character will be part of the game..
Read the infornation from the file and go through your character. Who are you, what do you do, what's your relationship to the victim and what is your role. Are you a participant, a suspect or the robber?

Participant
Are you a participant in the game, then you have nothing to do with the robbery. There is no evidence for robbery. You don't have to lie and deceive.

Suspect
Are you a suspect in the game, then there is evidence that you had something to with the robbery. There were traces found on the crimescene or clues for a motive. You don't have to lie and deceive.

Robber
Playing the robber? Then you have to cast suspicion to the other players. Only you have the correct clues in the file. During your interrogation you may lie and deceive. But beware! Too many lies and deceit has no point. The amount of clues will haunt you.
The game
Take your ID-card from the file and wear it so it's visible. Introduce yourself to the players. Tell them who u are and what's the relationship with the victim. The introductions can be done randomly.
Playing the game with more than 10 players, introduce yourself in an 1-on-1 conversation.
Testimonials
After the introductionround you will start the search for the suspects. use the testimonials and the map of the surroundings from the file. With 8 or less players, there are 3 suspects. with 9 or more players there are 5 suspects.
Compare the id-card of the players with the testimonials. Which of the players complies the most to the description of the suspect:
- Gender
- Race
- Age
- Posture
- Tops
- Undergarments
Beware!! Not all of the testimonials are reliable. Some of them are incomplete and/or not correctly observed.
Write the name of the suspects on the answert sheet in the file.
Clues
One of the suspects is the robber, but who? Interrogate the players about the evidence and investigate the truth. Note which player or players belong to the clues.
Just one of the players has been on the crimescene, has a motive for the robbery and knows the whereabouts of the loot. Proove that only one player meets these terms, then your have found your robber.
The symbols
The symbols with the clues explain the following parts:

Contains explination of the motive.
The end of the game
The game is completed when all the clues have been used for interrogation. Note the robber on the answer sheet. Not untill all the players have made a choice, the suspects and robber will reveal themselves.
Scoring
The scoring is as follows:
- For every correct suspect you get 1 point.
- If you prooved that the robber was at the crimescene, every correct accusation will give you 1 point.
- Correct whereabouts of the loot, 1 point.
- Correct motive, 2 points.
- Solving the crime by accusing the correct robber, will give you 3 points.
The player with the most points, is the winner.
What else?
- In mutual deliberation you will determine who will start the interrogation.
- Determine with which testimonial or clue you will start.
- Ask as many open questions, which include who, what, where, why, when or how.
- If you completed your list of suspects you can't alter. You may interrogate all of the players though.
- The robber doesn't have to come from the list of suspects.
